Safety Information
Last updated: December 19, 2025
This page provides general safety information about seeking care through Viril and receiving prescription treatments. It is not a substitute for medical advice from a licensed healthcare professional.
Not for Emergencies
If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.
Prescription Treatments Require Provider Review
- Prescription medications are available only if a licensed provider determines they are clinically appropriate.
- Your provider may recommend labs, follow-up visits, lifestyle changes, or in-person care.
- Not everyone is eligible for treatment, and results vary.
General Safety Considerations
Tell your provider about your medical history, current medications, allergies, and any side effects you experience. Some treatments may not be appropriate if you have certain conditions or take certain medications.
- Do not take prescription medication that was not prescribed to you.
- Do not change your dose or stop medication without consulting your provider.
- Ask your provider about possible side effects, interactions, and what to do if you miss a dose.
- Seek immediate medical attention for severe or concerning symptoms.
Compounded and/or Off-Label Prescriptions
In some cases and where legally permitted, providers may prescribe medications for off-label use or prescribe compounded medications. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and may not be evaluated for safety, effectiveness, or quality in the same way as FDA-approved products.
