Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy provides additional disclosures about "consumer health data" as defined by certain U.S. state privacy laws (for example, Washington's My Health My Data Act), when such laws apply.
This policy is meant to supplement our Privacy Policy and does not replace any HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices that may apply to care provided by independent healthcare providers.
What Is Consumer Health Data?
"Consumer health data" generally includes personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to you and that identifies your past, present, or future physical or mental health status.
Examples may include information about symptoms, medical history, medications, allergies, biometric identifiers (if collected), and data that could reveal that you sought or obtained health services.
Categories of Consumer Health Data We Collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of consumer health data:
- Health intake questionnaire responses and self-reported symptoms.
- Medical history and medication information you provide.
- Information about requested or recommended treatments.
- Communications with customer support that reference health-related topics.
- Inferences drawn from the above (for example, eligibility or risk flags), where permitted by law.
How We Use Consumer Health Data
- To provide the Services, including facilitating evaluation by independent licensed providers.
- To support operational needs such as customer support, security, fraud prevention, and quality improvement.
- To comply with law and enforce our policies and agreements.
How We Share Consumer Health Data
We may share consumer health data with:
- Independent healthcare providers, pharmacies, labs, and other partners involved in delivering care or fulfilling prescriptions.
- Service providers that help us run the Services (for example, hosting, communications, and security vendors).
- Government authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
